Alron Phillips is truly the best actor for the role of Monty in our newest film "Trust God". It was even really a question about if he was right, there was no audition or special thing he had to do to get this role because we knew he was Monty. Alron is a humble guy and will tell you he's just starting and he's growing, but let me tell you this guy has RAW talent. Nothing he could do to deny that!!! And you can see it all over this film. Seeing him in action just convinced us more that he was MEANT to be an actor.
When you watch "Trust God" you don't see Alron performing his role, you see Monty lost and hopeless searching for an answer, you see a man grieving the loss of his Mother, about to lose all hope, you get immersed in his performance because he's just that good.
The way he took on his role with purpose and really sought out to make Monty come to life is exactly what we love to see in every new actor. His talent in showing the perfect reactions and emotions during every scene came into play every single scene. Seriously, there is nothing Alron cant do. He's also an extremely talented writer and director and has his own projects in the making. We even got to be apart of his red carpet premiere of "Consequences: Aftermath" a movie about a husband and wife going through a grief journey after they lost their son to suicide.
We are so honored to have Alron grace our film set with amazing acting abilities and cant wait to work with him more soon.
